In 2026, the Napa Farmers Market is celebrating its 40th anniversary, marking four decades of Saturday and Tuesday mornings since it began in 1986. The market sets up at 1100 West Street in downtown Napa and is Napa County's largest California Certified Farmers Market, hosting more than 100 local farms, specialty food producers, and artisan vendors.
The scale is community-sized rather than tourist-sized. The market supports 37 family farmers and 101 small businesses, 64 of them Napa-based, and gives more than 40 nonprofit, community, and government organizations a place to connect directly with locals. Its Market Match Program doubles CalFresh food benefits for fruits and vegetables.
The market runs Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon year-round, and Tuesdays from 8 a.m. to noon April through December, rain or shine. Go early for the best selection, bring a tote, and expect to run into half the neighborhood.
