What this policy covers

This policy describes how napa.fyi collects, uses, and protects personal information when you use the Site. We collect as little as possible, and we do not sell your information.

• Form submissions. When you use our event submission, advertising inquiry, press kit request, or correction forms, we receive the details you enter, typically your name, email address, and message. Forms are processed by our form processor and delivered to us at [email protected].
• Newsletter signup. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email address so we can send it. The newsletter is powered by Kit, and your address is stored there. If you do not subscribe, we store nothing for the newsletter.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider may keep basic access logs, such as your IP address, the pages you requested, and the time of the request. These logs are used for security and operations.

How we use it

We use the information you provide to respond to your messages, review event submissions, send the newsletter you subscribed to, and keep the Site running and secure. We do not use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep form messages and correspondence only as long as needed to respond and maintain our records of submissions, and we keep newsletter addresses until you unsubscribe. Server logs are retained according to our hosting provider's standard practices.

Who processes it

• Formspree. Our forms are processed by Formspree, which delivers your submission to us.
• Kit. Our newsletter is powered by Kit, which stores subscriber email addresses.
• Cloudflare. Our Site is served through Cloudflare, which provides hosting, security, and analytics that help us understand aggregate site usage.

We choose processors that are reputable and that handle data in line with this policy. We do not share your information with anyone else except where required by law.

What we never do

• We never sell your personal information.
• We never share your information with advertisers.

Your rights

You may ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable time.
