Media Specialist

You run the napa.fyi content engine: the weekly event lineup, the Friday newsletter, and the daily Instagram picks. You decide what the valley sees, and when.
Responsibilities
- Own the weekly publishing calendar across site, newsletter, and Instagram
- Coordinate event coverage with the photographer and videographer
- Track what performs and sharpen the editorial mix each week
- Keep listings accurate, current, and on brand
What we are looking for
- A sharp editorial eye and a feel for what is worth attending
- Experience running a content calendar or social account with real output
- Strong writing, fast turnaround, zero tolerance for sloppy details
- You live the valley: you know the venues, the seasons, the rhythms

Copywriter

Responsibilities
- Write and edit event listings, city guides, and seasonal roundups
- Draft the Friday newsletter and Instagram captions
- Keep the napa.fyi voice consistent across every surface
- Write sponsor features that read as well as the editorial work
What we are looking for
- A portfolio of tight, lively published writing
- Speed without sloppiness: you file clean copy on deadline
- Range, from a 40-word listing to a 1,500-word guide
- Curiosity about Napa Valley food, wine, music, and culture

Photographer
$90,000 to $120,000 plus benefits
You are the eyes of napa.fyi. Real venues, real events, real light: your photos are what make the site and the feed worth opening.
Responsibilities
- Shoot events, venues, and experiences across Napa Valley and Sonoma
- Deliver edited, web-ready photo sets on a weekly rhythm
- Build the napa.fyi photo library: every venue, covered properly
- Work with the media specialist on shot lists for key events
What we are looking for
- A portfolio of strong editorial or event photography
- You shoot fast, in mixed light, without disrupting the room
- Reliable post-production workflow and quick delivery
- Your own kit; a valid driver's license and valley mobility
Full-time, Napa Valley (hybrid)
Videographer
$95,000 to $125,000 plus benefits
Short-form video is how the valley discovers what is on. You make napa.fyi move: event previews, venue moments, and the weekly roundup in motion.
Responsibilities
- Shoot and edit short-form video for Instagram and the site
- Cover events across the valley, often on evenings and weekends
- Develop repeatable formats: previews, recaps, venue profiles
- Own the full pipeline from shoot to published cut
What we are looking for
- A reel of sharp, well-paced short-form work
- You can shoot, edit, and deliver on a weekly cadence
- An eye for the 3-second hook and the clean cut
- Comfortable working solo in live, crowded rooms
Full-time, Napa Valley (hybrid)
Partnerships Sales, Account Executive
$80,000 base plus uncapped commission (OTE $150,000 to $180,000) plus benefits
You turn the valley's venues, wineries, and hotels into napa.fyi partners: featured events, sponsored guides, newsletter placements, and the hotel widget.
Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle, from first outreach to signed partner
- Build relationships with venues, wineries, hotels, and organizers
- Hit quarterly revenue targets with a consultative, no-pressure style
- Feed partner feedback back into the product
What we are looking for
- A track record of closing B2B deals, ideally in hospitality or media
- You know the Napa Valley business landscape, or learn it fast
- Self-directed: you build your own pipeline and run it
- Polished, persistent, and genuinely likable on the phone and in the room
Full-time, Napa Valley (hybrid)
Event Manager
$90,000 to $120,000 plus benefits
napa.fyi will host its own events: tastings, previews, and valley gatherings. You make them happen, end to end, and make them worth attending.
Responsibilities
- Plan and run napa.fyi events from concept to teardown
- Manage venues, vendors, permits, timelines, and budgets
- Coordinate sponsors, partners, and on-site staff
- Keep every event on brand: clean, warm, and well run
What we are looking for
- Proven experience running public events, ideally food, wine, or culture
- Calm under pressure and obsessive about logistics
- Strong vendor and venue relationships in the Bay Area or wine country
- Nights and weekends when the event calendar demands it
