Your California privacy rights

This notice supplements our Privacy Policy and applies to California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA).

Categories of personal information we collect

• Identifiers. Name and email address that you provide through our forms (event submission, advertising inquiry, press kit request, correction form) and newsletter signup.
• Internet activity. Basic server access logs, such as IP address, pages requested, and request time, which may be kept by our hosting provider for security and operations.

We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by the CCPA.

Purposes of collection

We use these categories to respond to your messages, review event submissions, send the newsletter you subscribed to, and operate and secure the Site. We do not use them for advertising or profiling.

Sale and sharing

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose it only to our service providers (Formspree for forms, Kit for the newsletter) and where required by law.

Your rights

• Know. You may ask what personal information we have collected about you and why.
• Delete. You may ask us to delete your personal information, subject to exceptions the law allows.
• Correct. You may ask us to correct inaccurate personal information.
• Limit use. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information, so this right is not applicable to our practices.
• Non-discrimination. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

How to exercise your rights

Email [email protected] with your request. We will verify your identity based on the information you provide, such as confirming control of the email address involved, and respond within the time the law requires. There is no fee.

Authorized agents

You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. The agent must provide your written permission, and we may ask you to verify your identity directly before we act on the agent's request.
