Napa Valley's newest boutique resort, The Elene, is set to open in fall 2026 at 5091 Solano Ave. in Napa, bringing 50 guest rooms and suites, two dining concepts, and a wellness program to the south side of the city. Developed by St. Helena-based Napa Valley Land Company and managed by Mosaic Hotel Collection, the property sits along the Napa Valley Vine Trail and is designed around community connection, with a heated vineyard pool, a Thermal Garden, and a cycling program.
The food and beverage program aims to move past the formality sometimes associated with the region's hospitality scene. The signature restaurant, Vetra, is led by chef Matthew Accarrino and built on live-fire cooking with Italian influence: breakfast centers on an Italian grazing table, lunch is tailored to visitors dining between winery appointments, and dinner leans into a lively dinner-party atmosphere. The room features nearly 20-foot ceilings, an open-air kitchen, views of Laird Estate and the surrounding mountains, and a large communal table linking the dining room and bar.
The resort's all-day cafe is pitched as a neighborhood gathering place for guests and residents alike, with a central courtyard of fountains and outdoor seating connecting the cafe, lobby, and restaurant. Managing director Cody Felice, previously vice president of operations at Mosaic Hotel Collection, has described the goal as a stay unlike anything in Napa Valley, one that feels like a home rather than a hotel. For a valley where luxury can feel closed off, The Elene's bet is openness: conscious luxury without pretension, steps from the Vine Trail.
