The Uptown Theatre, at 1350 3rd Street in Napa's West End, is a 1937 art deco movie palace reborn as Northern California's intimate live music room. The restored neon marquee still lights up the block, and inside, the room holds 863, with no seat farther than 98 feet from the stage, which makes even a sold-out show feel close.
The booking history is deep: Boz Scaggs, Willie Nelson, B.B. King, George Thorogood, Lyle Lovett, Chris Isaak, Keb' Mo, Rosanne Cash, Tears for Fears, and Snoop Dogg are among the names that have played the room. The 2026 and 2027 calendar keeps the mix wide, with dates on the books including Jose Gonzalez, The Phil Collins Story, and Duff Goldman.
