Somerston Estate, the 1,682-acre private estate tucked into Napa Valley's eastern Vaca Mountains, announced the next chapter of its wines on October 6, 2026: a new flagship collection the estate describes as the most focused expression of its mountain vineyards. The new bottles carry the estate's astrolabe mark in gold embossing, a refreshed look for the luxury tier.

Director of Winemaking Cody Hurd, whose understanding of the property has been built over more than 15 years at Somerston since joining in 2010, says the wines come from selecting the fruit that most clearly expresses what makes Somerston unique in a given year. Individual blocks are farmed, harvested, and vinified with attention to their particular conditions, so each site's character guides the final wines.

The 2023 Somerston Red, priced at $245 with 190 cases produced, is available in limited quantities directly through the estate beginning October 6, 2026. The 2025 Somerston White, priced at $75 with 200 cases produced, follows in late fall 2026.

Alongside the wines, the estate is launching a new culinary program led by Estate Chef Cameron Bouldin, pairing seasonal Napa Valley ingredients with the wines. Private estate experiences are available by reservation through somerstonestate.com.
